  10.     This Apple ][ emulator is a major enhancement of the Apple ][ emulator
  11. written by Claudio Nieder.  That emulator is available in "AppleOnAmiga.lha"
  12. in the "misc/emu" directory on Aminet.

  14.     This enhanced version was created by disassembling the executable in the
  15. above mentioned archive and replacing the CPU emulation logic with code
  16. written in assembly language.  At the same time, emulation of instructions new
  17. to the 65C02 were added.

  19.     Although CPU emulation runs much faster, disk I/O runs just as glacially
  20. slow as Nieder's original version.  This is because the diskette images used by
  21. the emulator are bit images, not sector images as used by emulators such as
  22. Kralian's "Apple2000".

  24.     New in this version are two modules for the Apple ][ that can be used on an
  25. Apple ][ to capture the diskette images needed by the emulator.

  27.     Also new to this version is am Apple font and a program to load that font.
